Bio

Annie Saturn is a singer/songwriter based in Canada and the UK.

Her musical journey started at the age of eight, when her mother signed her up for guitar lessons. At 17, she went on to study jazz guitar, but after attending a performance of Mozart's Requiem in Paris, she developed an interest in early music and the lute and was about to begin a degree in that field.

Just a few months before beginning her university studies, Annie Saturn had the privilege of meeting James Blunt, an artist she had admired since the age of eight. When Mr. Blunt wished her good luck with her music, she took it as a sign to pursue her calling and dedicate her life to her lifelong dream of songwriting.

Considering her diverse musical background, her influences range from John Dowland's Elizabethan melancholy to Amy Winehouse's soulful, raw and confessional songwriting in the modern era.

Drawing inspiration from centuries of music, Annie seeks to bridge the past and the present, blending the nostalgia of the past with the realities of the contemporary world.
